I am currently conducting research to identify areas of weakness in our program. http://178.128.25.196/ am working on improving my communication skills with my coaches. I feel we aren't leveraging the talents and unique skills of each coach as effectively as we could. I'm seeking answers everywhere: from great coaching legends, to the captains or innovators of American Industry. We are also relying on our coordinators to do the basic reads and adjustments as well as game planning. There has to be a more effective and efficient way of doing things than we are doing today.Research the programs/schools you're interested in. We lose 1 player per game as the season progresses due to illness, injuries, grades, etc. We usually have 22-23 children available for practices and games. This is the perfect number. I feel like 22 kids is enough to have 11 on 11. If we have 22, we can run our football play against a scout defensive of 11 players.We have found the best player to coach ratio is about 5 or 6 players per coach. You would need seven coaches if you have 40 players on your youth football team. This many coaches can be difficult to find. Then to train and keep them all on the same page would require a management miracle worthy to be Donald Trump's apprentice. As the head coach and his assistants have so many people, it is rare for players to reach their full potential.To get a better idea of where you are talent-wise, try to attend some FBS (D1A), FCS (D1-AA), DII, and DIII games at schools in your area. You will be able to see firsthand the level of competition at each stage so that you can make a more realistic assessment.Can you train while not taking a protein powder? Yes. But, why would you? It's not a good idea.
