@Mattias – Agree with the gym part. My most successful ( and easiest) abstinence phase coincided with the time when I worked out daily. Working out (especially weight training) stabilizes your energy levels and keeps you calm, so you have more sexual energy but you dont get frustrated.

I’m saying that if I slip this weekend I’m not going to cry about it, I know that I’m back in the saddle after 3-4 days. In fact, irresistable. I like being in power, telling her exactly what to do, when to move a muscle, when to breathe, the works. So that powerplay is a huge part of my sexuality and more important than the release. I get aroused in my mind easily, but not downstairs. That’s been a problem for me, because I might not have a full hard-on for the first 30 min, so I’m mistaken for an impotent guy.
