Here's our story so far: Thursday via text... Me: "We're going out tonight if you wanna tag along." Sex Lips: "I actually already made plans for tonight. If you're doing something tomorrow, give me a call." OK, now some would think that she's just blowing you off. However, believe it or not, women do have lives of their own. If she made plans, she made plans. And I don't expect her to change them for a guy she just met. Friday. The Supreme Team and I make plans to hit up new bars, but where to? She knows the northern bars better than we do, so I decide to hit her up again (via text)... Me: "Did your grandma lock you up again, or is she going to allow you to come out tonight?" Sex Lips: "I don't know, she's kind of strict." And that's as far as I go with the humor. In fact, that's as far as I go period. If she wants to come out, she'll text me again. And of course, she does... Sex Lips: "If you're headed this way and are willing to pick me up, I'd like to roll with you." See what a little patience does? Your first reaction in this situation would be to respond to her text about being strict. I didn't. This is the first step in establishing that I'm not going to chase after her. I let her know (albeit humorously) that I wanted her to come out, and if she didn't give me the response I was looking for, I was going to just let her go and never call/text her again. We then make plans to meet up at her place and go out from there. However, things didn't go as planned. Our DD was suppose to be over at 11PM. It's 11:45 and he still hasn't shown up. I decide to give her a call. We bicker over the situation, at which point I kind of go off the wall. She laughs the entire time... Sex Lips: "Uhoh, you're losing points." Me: "Points? Why would I want any points from you?" Sex Lips: "Wow, you're INTENSE, you're different...I like it." She's referring to how I say exactly how I feel without fear of what she thinks of my choice of words. In other words, she finds my assholish personality to be entertaining. 12:15. She sends me a text...
